Dr. Spencer Franz

Dr. Spencer Franz graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry degree from The Illinois College from Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Franz gained priceless knowledge and experience by working with some of the leading doctors in the field during his Doctorate internships at Glaucoma Consultants, Sidney Hillman VA Eye Clinic, and the Chicago Cornea Consultants. Dr. Franz also has intensive training within the pediatric population and has worked with children during crucial developmental years to ensure their best vision and ocular health.

Dr. Franz has a special interest in diseases of the eye including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, keratoconus, conjunctivitis, retinal anomalies, cataracts, and pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract and lasik. Furthermore, he is highly trained in the diagnosis and management of systemic disease affecting the eyes including high blood pressure, diabetic, arthritis and autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue disorders and lupus.
